The PRAXI Network, the National Contact Point for the European research and innovation framework program Horizon Europe, organized an open event on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the amphitheater of the Epirus Science and Technology Park titled “EIC Accelerator: Funding Opportunities, Procedures & Support.

Co-organizers of the event included the Institute of Biomedical Research (IBE-FORTH), the Region of Epirus, the Ioannina Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Europe Network Hellas, Europe Direct Epirus, and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Unit of the University of Ioannina.

The open event was aimed at innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Epirus and neighboring regions, as well as start-ups and spin-offs looking to submit their proposals to the competitive funding tool EIC Accelerator.

Terracom participated as a speaker in the event with Mr. Stelios Gkouskos, President and Co-founder of Terracom. Mr. Gkouskos shared the company’s experience as a success story of funding through the SME Instrument Phase 2. His speech, titled “Successful Cases of SME Instrument Phase 2: The Case of Terracom” detailed Terracom’s journey and the benefits gained from the program.

This event was the second in a series of events on the EIC Accelerator organized by the PRAXI Network across Greece, aiming to encourage the participation of Greek businesses in the program to increase Greek representation and to provide substantial support through consulting and other supportive services throughout the proposal submission process (short proposal, full proposal, interview phase).
