We are very proud to have been awarded with 2 awards at the “Made in Greece 2019” Awards, the “GOLD Award” in category “Innovative Product – Small Business” for QR-Patrol, and the “SILVER Award” in category “Export Excellence – Small and Medium Business” for Terracom S.A.. The event took place on Monday December 16th 2019, at the Athens Concert Hall.
Made in Greece Awards are part of the ongoing effort of the Hellenic Marketing Academy (EL.A.M.) to empower and disseminate a new development model that will adjust to current production and marketing challenges based on quality, innovation, diversification, targeted markets, international distribution networks and strong brand names. The purpose of this institution is to promote and reward companies and organizations that achieve excellent performance in the creation and marketing of products with significant added value for the Greek economy.
The awards address to all businesses and organizations operating in Greece for which the quality, innovation, extraversion and strength of their brands are at the forefront of their growth and prosperity. “Made in Greece 2019” awards are organized by the Ministry of Development and Investment and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
QR-Patrol is a leading guard tour monitoring system with a global footprint with more than 1,000 customers in 82 countries, as well as an extensive network of resellers – partners in 29 countries. It is the first guard-tour system that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technologies such as beacons & wearables.
Terracom’s international customer list includes Heathrow International Airport, the German Stock Exchange, the European Court of Justice (EUROJUST), IKEA, numerous hotels (Hilton, Marriot, Hyatt), security companies (Brinks, G4S, Securitas), facilities companies (ISS) , Country Clean Recycling, P&H Cleaning Company, CCS Facilities), universities (Carnegie Mellon, University of California San Francisco, University of West Georgia,), Emirates airlines, Dubai duty free, major airports and more.
Terracom has received funding by the European Union through the program Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2.
In August 2019 a London-based investment firm, Brookstreet, invested in Terracom with the aim of further promoting and expanding the company’s operations in Greece and abroad.
